In the introduction of their paper, the authors give an overview about different wave or Klein-Gordon or dissipative wave models appearing in cosmology. They pose several open problems for such semilinear wave models with time-dependent coefficients. Their main interest is devoted to the anti-de Sitter model, a special case of Robertson-Walker models. As usually, the study of semilinear models bases on precise estimates for linear models. This is done in the present paper. The authors study for \(t\in(0,\infty)\) the Cauchy problem in the \(n\)-dimensional case \((n\geq 1)\) \[ u_{tt}- e^{2t}\Delta u= f(t,x),\quad u(0,x)= \varphi_0(x),\quad u_t(0x)= \varphi_1(x). \] They use explicit representations of solutions. These representations are derived in previous papers by the aid of the fundamental solution, hypergeometric functions and wave potentials. The main goal of the considerations is to prove \(L^p\)-\(L^q\) estimates for the solution on the conjugate line and to prove \(L^q\)-\(L^q\) estimates for the solution.
