The author considers the Schrödinger operator \(\widehat{H}\equiv(-h^2{{\partial^2}\over{\partial x^2}}+V)\), on \(1\)-dimensional cell complexes. Here \(V\) is a function continuous on the whole graph and smooth on the edges. In particular he is interested in the asymptotic (as \(h\to 0\)) spectral problem for \(\widehat{H}\). After Introduction, this paper splits in three more sections. 2. Main results. (The main result of the paper is a procedure by which graphs are put in correspondence with spectral series of \(\widehat{H}\).) 3. Examples. 4. Asymptotic eigenvalues corresponding to eigenfunctions localized at the vertex of the graph. The author recalls also some previous results by other authors related to the present paper. More precisely, the spectrum of \(\widehat{H}\) on a compact graph is discrete for semibounded operator [\textit{N. I. Gerasimenko, B. S. Pavlov}, Theor. Math. Phys. 74, No. 3, 230--240 (1988); translation from Teor. Mat. Fiz. 74, No. 3, 345--359 (1988; Zbl 0659.47006)]. With respect to this a necessary condition is emphasized too [\textit{M. G. Zavgorodnij}, Russ. Acad. Sci., Dokl., Math. 49, No. 2, 298--302 (1994); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk, Ross. Akad. Nauk 335, No. 3, 281--283 (1994; Zbl 0831.34085)]. Other works (also in Russian) are quoted that contain a large part of results considered in the paper. In particular a book on differential equations on geometric graphs [\textit{Yu. V. Pokornyĭ} et al., Differential equations on geometric graphs, Moskva: Fizmatlit. 268~p. (2004; Zbl 1073.34001)] and \textit{V. P. Maslov} and \textit{M. V. Fedoryuk} [Semi-classical approximation in quantum mechanics (1981; Zbl 0458.58001); (1976; Zbl 0449.58002)] on quasiclassical approximation for quantum mechanics equations.
