Let \(S = (\mathcal P, \mathcal L, \mathcal H)\) be a finite planar space with the property that any two planes intersect in a line. The author proves that if for every pair of non-coplanar lines there exists (at least) one line which is simultaneously coplanar with each, then \(S\) is embeddable in a finite 3-dimensional projective space. The proof relies in turn on showing that such an embedding is possible if and only if the dual space of \(S\) is a full 3-dimensional projective space.
