Let \(A=H^\infty_\mathbb R(\mathbb D)\) be the real Banach algebra of all bounded analytic functions in the unit disk \(\mathbb D\) that have real Fourier coefficients. The subalgebra \(A_\mathbb R(\mathbb D)\) of all \(f\in A\) which admit a continuous extension to the Euclidian closure of \(\mathbb D\) is called the real disk-algebra. Note that the functions in \(A\) are exactly those bounded analytic functions that are real on \((-1,1)\). In [Math. Nachr. 282, No. 6, 912--916 (2009; Zbl 1197.46014)], the author showed that if \((f,g)\in A_\mathbb R(\mathbb D)\times A_\mathbb R(\mathbb D)\) is a corona-pair, that is, if \(\delta=\inf_\mathbb D |f|+|g|>0\), then there exist \(h\in A_\mathbb R(\mathbb D)\) and an invertible function \(u\in A_\mathbb R(\mathbb D)\) such that \(1=uf+hg\) if and only if \(f\) has constant sign on the real zeros of \(g\) in \([-1,1]\). In the present paper, the author's intention was to prove a similar result for \(A\). Unfortunately, the main result as stated is not correct and contains a gap in the proof. Apart from the fact that the condition ``\(f\) has constant sign on the real zeros of \(g\) in \((-1,1)\)'' is too weak, one does not obtain a bound on the norms of \(u,u^{-1}\) and \(h\) of the solutions to the Bezout equation \(uf+hg=1\), \(u\) invertible, that only depends on \(\delta\). Counterexamples to the current statement of the main result have been constructed during the preparation of this review. The author will work out a fix to this problem that strenghtens the condition about the zeros.
