The author extends the result by \textit{R. Ye} [in: Geometric analysis and the calculus of variations. Dedicated to Stefan Hildebrandt on the occasion of his 60th birthday. Cambridge, MA: International Press. 369--383 (1996; Zbl 0932.53026)], and proves the existence of a family of constant \(r\)-th mean curvature hypersurfaces (for \(1 \leq r \leq m\)) in an \((m+1)\)-dimensional Riemannian manifold \((M^{m+1}, g)\), which concentrate at a point \(p_0\) (which is required to be a nondegenerate critical point of the scalar curvature). Moreover, this family constitutes a foliation of a neighborhood of \(p_0\). Among the results are the expansion of the \(m\)-dimensional volume of the leaves of this foliation as well as the \((m+1)\)-dimensional volume of the sets enclosed by each leaf. The main technical tool is the precise expansion of first and second fundamental forms for the perturbed geodesic sphere.
