In this extremely remarkable paper the authors introduce and discuss the general concept of higher order absolute contact differentiation founded on the notion of semiholonomic contact elements. They show how the moving frame method leads to the coordinate functions of the field of \(r\)-th order contact elements on a submanifold of homogeneous space \(S=G/H\). Then the authors present the general concept of \(r\)-th order geometric object for \(n\)-dimensional submanifolds of \(S\) and clarify that the Cartan prolongation procedure leads to the equations of the infinitesimal action of \(H\) on the standard fiber of the bundle of contact \((n,r)\)-elements on \(S\). They also point out that the standard geometric objects of submanifolds are defined on contact elements, thus they have a universal character. At the end the authors introduce the universal horizontal and vertical bundles for \(n\)-submanifolds and give nice examples.
