    The paper studies the approximation of the generalized Euler-Mascheroni constant, denoted by \(\gamma(a)\) and defined as the limit of the sequence \(\gamma_n(a) = \frac{1}{a} + \frac{1}{a+1} + \ldots + \frac{1}{a+n-1} - \ln\frac{a+n-1}{a}\), \(a>0\). The numerical value \(\gamma(1) = 0.577215 \ldots\) is known as the Euler-Mascheroni constant. This study relies on the usage of the general form sequence \(\mu_n(a,b,c) = \frac{1}{a} + \frac{1}{a+1} + \ldots + \frac{1}{a+n-2} + \frac{b}{a+n-1} - \ln\left(\frac{a+n-1}{a}+c\right)\), \(a,b,c\in \mathbb{R}\), \(a>0\), \(c>-(a+1)/a\), which, for particular cases, incorporates both already known approximating sequences (considered by previous works, such as \textit{D. W. DeTemple} [Am. Math. Mon. 100, No. 5, 468--470 (1993; Zbl 0858.11068)], \textit{A. Sîntămărian} [Numer. Algorithms 46, No. 2, 141--151 (2007; Zbl 1130.11075)]) and new approximating sequences (converging faster).
