The authors study the behavior of the stochastic system \[ dx(t)=\text{diag}(x_1(t),\dots, x_{n}(t))[f(x_{t})dt+g(x_{t})dw(t)], \] where \(w(t)\) is a scalar Brownian motion; \(x_{t}(\theta)=x(t+\theta), \theta\in [-\tau,0]\). Under the diagonally dominant condition, they establish an existence and uniqueness theorem for the global positive solution to the considered Kolmogorov-type stochastic system and study the asymptotic properties of this global positive solution, including the moment boundedness, stochastically ultimate boundedness and the moment average boundedness in time. As anapplication of the obtained results, a discussion of some stochastic Lotka-Volterra systems is presented.
