The author investigates the convergence of a monotonisation procedure for a non-monotone quasi-static model in poroplasticity. He considers non-monotonic functions and define new notion of solution. This notion of solution is weaker than the weak-type solution introduced by \textit{H. D. Alber} and \textit{K. Chełmińiski} [I. Gohberg, (ed.) et al., Operator theoretical methods and applications to mathematical physics. Basel: Birkhäuser. Oper. Theory, Adv. Appl. 147, 105--129 (2004; Zbl 1280.74017)]. In this paper authors could only show that the equations considered are satisfied in the ``weak sense'' and the inelastic constitutive equation is satisfied in the sense of Young measures.
