A \(k\)-Hamiltonian subcomplex \(A\) of a polyhedral complex \(K\) is a subcomplex which contains the full \(k\)-dimensional skeleton of \(K\). The authors decide all cases of 1-Hamiltonian surfaces in the regular polytopes and all cases of 2-Hamiltonian 4-manifolds in the regular \(d\)-polytopes for \(d\leq 9\).
