Let \(G\) be a connected reductive algebraic group. A homogeneous \(G\)-space is said to be spherical if it has a dense orbit for a Borel subgroup of \(G\). One knows that a conjugacy class in \(G\) is spherical if and only if it has finitely many \(B\)-orbits for a Borel subgroup \(B\) of \(G\). In this paper, the author classifies spherical conjugacy classes in simple algebraic groups over an algebraically closed field of good odd characteristic.
