The authors are concerned with acoustic scattering problems in dimension three. The rate of convergence of the multiple-scattering iterations for a collection of three dimensional convex obstacles is investigated. The approach relies on a recasting of the iterated multiple scattering series in the form of a sum of periodic orbits in a high-frequency regime. Various numerical examples are presented.
