The problem of dynamics of solid bodies immersed in a fluid is studied in the paper. The two-dimensional flow is governed by the Navier-Stokes equations \[ \rho\frac{\partial v}{\partial t}+\rho(v\cdot\nabla v)-\mu\Delta v+\nabla p=\rho f, \quad \text{div}\,v=0, \quad x\in F(t), \tag{1} \] where \(v\) is the velocity of the fluid, \(p\) is the pressure, the positive constants \(\rho\) and \(\mu\) are the density and viscosity of the fluid. \(F(t)\) is a domain occupied by the fluid at the moment \(t\). \(F(t)=\Omega\setminus\bigcup_{i=1}^N\overline{S_i(t)}\), a set \(\Omega\) contains fluid with \(N\) solid bodies, \(S_i(t)\) describes a position of \(i\)-th body. The system (1) is supplemented by usual boundary and initial conditions. Two interesting results are obtained in the paper. Let the boundary of \(\Omega\) and the boundaries of the solids have Hölder regularity \(C^{1+\alpha}\), \(0<\alpha\leq 1\). First, it is proved the existence and uniqueness of strong solution up to the collision. Another result is related to study of the asymptotic behaviour of one \(C^{1+\alpha}\) body falling over a flat surface. It is proved that a collision with a bottom is possible in finite time if and only if \(0<\alpha<\frac{1}{2}\).
