The \(k\)-Ricci curvature of a Riemannian manifold \(\bar{M}\) in the direction of \((e, P)\), e being a unit vector and \(P\) being a \(k\)-plane orthogonal to \(e\), is defined as the sum \(\sum _{i=1}^k K_{\bar{M}}(e\wedge e_i)\) of sectional curvatures, where \((e_1, \dots, , e_k)\) is an orthonormal frame of \(P\). The author studies the structure of complete minimal \(n\)-dimensional submanifolds \(M\) of Riemannian manifolds of non-negative \((n-1)\)-Ricci curvature. For example, if a Sobolev inequality (specified in the paper) holds on such an \(M\) and the operator \(\Delta + (n-1)S/n\), \(S\) being the squared norm of the second fundamental form, has finite index, then \(M\) has finite number of ends.
