The authors study a noncooperative elliptic system of two species in an unbounded domain \(\Omega \subset \mathbb R^N\), \(N\geq 3\), with four weight functions at linear terms. They consider an approximative system and show with the help of Schauder's fixed point theorem it has a unique weak solution. By a limiting process they prove the existence of a weak solution to the original system. With the help of the Maximum Principle they prove the uniqueness.
