Approximations of hypersingular integral equations by the quadrature method (Q852470)

The authors consider the quadrature method for the solution of hypersingular integral equations of the first kind as \[ \int^b_a \frac{u(x)\,dx}{|x-t|^\lambda} = f(t), \quad 1< \lambda < 3. \] They prove the convergence of the method and given estimates of error.
