This is another attempt to find a closed form evaluation of the Riemann zeta function \(\zeta(2k+ 1)\) for integer \(k\geq 1\) analogous to Euler's well known formula expressing \(\zeta(2k)\) as a rational multiple of \(\pi^{2k}\). One result expresses \(\zeta(2k+ 1)\) recursively in terms of \(\log 2\), \(\zeta(3),\dots,\zeta(2k- 1)\) together with an infinite series involving values of the classical Euler polynomials \(E_n(x)\). For \(k= 1\) it takes the form \[ \zeta(3)= {2\pi^2\over 9}\log 2-{2\pi^4\over 3} \sum^\infty_{m=0} {(-1)^m \pi^{2m} E_{2m+1}(1)\over (2m+ 5)!}. \] Nonrecursive forms are given expressing \(\zeta(2k+ 1)\) as another infinite series. All these provide some perspective on the difficulty of evaluating \(\zeta(2k+ 1)\) as opposed to \(\zeta(2k)\).
