The author gives necessary and sufficient conditions for \(T\in L(X)\) so that \(a\)-Browder's theorem or \(a\)-Weyl's theorem holds. Also, the relation between hypercyclic operators (supercyclic operators) and the operators for which a Weyl type theorem holds is studied.
