Some reformulated properties of Jacobian elliptic functions (Q852765)

The theory of the Jacobian elliptic functions provides one of the classical approaches to the theory of elliptic functions. In it the analogies with the theory of circular functions is emphasized. In this paper the author takes the functions \(\mathrm{cs}\),\(\mathrm{ds}\) and \(\mathrm{ns}\) are basic, He shows that one can put the fundamental formulae into a symmetric form where the names of the functions become variables. This he extends first of all to the integrals of his standard functions. After this he establishes recurrences for the integrals of the powers of these basic functions.
