The author studies the Cauchy problem for the system of isentropic gas dynamics, which is the system of hyperbolic nonlinear conservation laws. By adding artificial viscosity the parabolic system is obtained. The author applies the maximum principle method and obtains the estimation (the lower bound) for the solutions to the parabolic system.
