The author proves that iterative method based on the eigenfunction expansion to integrate nonlinear parabolic systems is convergent and gives an analytical rate for its convergence and the number of iterations needed to obtain a solution with a pre-determined level of accuracy. He illustrates the convergence analysis with a central problem in combustion theory and expects that the convergence analysis can be used or similar systems with time dependence.
