Associated Laguerre-Konhauser polynomials, quasi-monomiality and operational identities (Q852858)

The author presents a two variable generalization for one of the two Konhauser's biorthogonal polynomials, namely \(Z^{(\alpha)}_n(x; k)\) which with \(k= 1\) yield famous Laguerre polynomials. The author exploits principle of monomiality and a few operational technique to achieve his version of generalization. Routine natured calculations provide properties such as Rodrigues type formula, differential equation etc. The paper has nothing to do with the concept of biorthogonality introduced by Konhauser.
