    The authors study the \(q\)-analogue of the classical Mellin transform \(M(f)(s)=\int_{0}^{\infty} f(x)\,x^{s-1}\,dx\), using the \(q\)-Jackson integral. They discuss several properties of the \(q\)-Mellin transform and give the inversion formula of it. They study the \(q\)-analogues of some classical results, such as, the convolution theorem, the Titchmarsh theorem and also a \(q\)-analogue of the Mellin summation formula \(\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}f(n)=\frac{1}{2\pi i}\,\int_{c-i \infty}^{c+i \infty} M(f)(s)\,\zeta(s)\,ds\), is established.
