This paper deals with the existence of two positive solutions for second order nonlocal functional/ordinary boundary value problems. By using a fixed point theorem on a Banach space, ordered by an appropriate cone, the author proves that the values of these solutions at three given points of their domain are upper or lower bounded by a priori given constants.
