This paper deals with \(q\)-type finite Hankel transform \[ F(z)=\int_0^1 f(t) J_{\nu}^{(3)} (tz;q^2)\,d_q(t), \quad z\in c \] to find its zeros. The authors prove that it has infinitely many real and simple zeros when \(q\) satisfies a condition additional to the standard one. The asymptotic behavior of zeros and the distribution of these zeros is also given. They also consider some applications of these results.
