The unoriented bordism ring \(\mathfrak N_*\) was first determined by R. Thom in the 1950's. Later A. Dold and J. Milnor described explicit generators using what subsequently became known as Dold and Milnor manifolds, denoted by \(P(m,n)\) and \(H(m,n)\), respectively, where \(m,n\geqslant1\). The present paper investigates when a pair \(P(m_1,n_1),H(m_2,n_2)\) of such manifolds is bordant. The answer involves detailed and exhausting calculations with Stiefel-Whitney numbers. The methods are very classical and thoroughly elucidated in \textit{Robert E. Stong} [Notes on cobordism theory. Preliminary informal notes of University courses and seminars in mathematics, Mathematical Notes. Princeton, N. J.: Princeton University Press and the University of Tokyo Press (1968; Zbl 0181.26604)]. There is no suggestion of any motivation other than being able to find answers in some (but not all) cases.
