The paper starts with a summary of LR fuzzy numbers (i.e.\ triplets of a center value and a left and right spread), and a corresponding arithmetic using Dubois-Prade approximate operators [\textit{D. Dubois, H. Prade}, Fuzzy sets and systems. Theory and applications. Mathematics in Science and Engineering, Vol. 144. New York etc.: Academic Press. (1980; Zbl 0444.94049)]. The direct solution and the Jacobi iterative mehod are then explained for fully fuzzy linear systems (i.e.\ both the matrix and the right hand side of the system are fuzzy). The main objective is however to apply the Adomian decomposition [\textit{G. Adomian}, Stochastic systems. Mathematics in Science and Engineering, Vol. 169. New York-London: Academic Press (1983; Zbl 0523.60056)] to solve such linear systems. It is shown that the iteration matrix for the Adomian decomposition and for the Jacobi iteration are the same. The same result has been obtained before for a system with crisp matrix and fuzzy right hand side [\textit{T. Allahviranloo}, Appl. Math. Comput. 163, No. 2, 553--563 (2005; Zbl 1069.65025)].
