In this study authors transfer the whole geometry of \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) over non-singular quadratic \(Q_{4,q}\) of \(\mathrm{PG}(4,q)\) mapping suitably \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) over \(Q_{4,q}\). More precisely the points of \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) are the lines of \(Q_{4,q}\); the lines of \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) are the tangent cones of \(Q_{4,q}\) and the reguli of the hyperbolic quadrics hyperplane section of \(Q_{4,q}\). A plane of \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) is the set of lines of \(Q_{4,q}\) meeting a fixed line of \(Q_{4,q}\). Authors remark that this representation is valid also for a projective space \(\mathrm{P}_{3,k}\) over any field \(K\), and apply the above representation to construct maximal partial spreads \(J\) in \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\). Also authors get new cardinalities for \(J\) when \(q\) even.
