The paper addresses the question of convergence of Chebyshevian spline subdivision algorithms. The framework is a general treatment of non-interpolatory subdivion schemes. The author does not deal with ordinary differentiation, but with the differential operators classically associated with Extended Chebyshevian spaces. A central item is the derivative formula that gives the blossom of the first derivative of a polynomial in terms of its own blossom.
