Let \(D\neq 1\) be the reduced discriminant of an indefinite quaternion algebra \(B\) over \(\mathbb{Q}\) and let \(N\geq 1\) be a positive integer coprime to \(D\). Let \(X_0(D,N)\) be the Shimura curve over \(\mathbb{Q}\) of discriminant \(D\) and level \(N\) attached to an Eichler order of level \(N\) in \(B\). The genus of \(X_0(D,N)\) is one for eleven values of \((D,N)\) and the authors find an equation for all these curves: \[ \begin{aligned} (D,N) \qquad &y^2=f(x) \\(14,1) \qquad &y^2=-x^4+13x^2-128 \\(15,1) \qquad &y^2=-3x^4-82x^2-27 \\(21,1) \qquad &y^2=-7x^4+94x^2-343 \\(33,1) \qquad &y^2=-3x^4-10x^2-243 \\(34,1) \qquad &y^2=-3x^4+26x^3-53x^2-26x-3 \\(46,1) \qquad &y^2=-x^4+45x^2-512 \\(6,5) \qquad &y^2=-x^4+61x^2-1024 \\(6,7) \qquad &y^2=-3x^4-34x^2-2187 \\(6,13) \qquad &y^2=-x^4-115x^2-4096 \\(10,3) \qquad &y^2=-2x^4-11x^2-32 \\(10,7) \qquad &y^2=-27x^4-40x^3+6x^2+40x-27 \end{aligned} \] Starting with arithmetic data which can be obtained from the points of complex multiplication and the class fields generated by them, the authors find these equations by using Cassel's computation of \(\mathbb{Q}\)-soluble \(\mathbb{Q}\)-equivalence classes of an elliptic curve over \(\mathbb{Q}\), as described by \textit{J.~E. Cremona} and \textit{M. Stoll} [LMS J. Comput. Math. 5, 220--243 (2002; Zbl 1067.11031)]. The method is applied also to compute equations of the seventeen Atkin-Lehner quotients of \(X_0(D,1)\) of genus one which are non-elliptic over \(\mathbb{Q}\).
