The paper gives a new method to construct conformal densities. The purpose of the paper is to show that there are conformal measures which cannot be derived via the usual Patterson measure construction. The so obtained new types of measures are expected to be of significance for investigations of geometrically infinite Kleinian groups. Two interesting examples are discussed at the end of the paper.
