It is studied a heteropolymer in a medium with random droplets. It consists of a \((d+1)\)-dimensional random medium, a \((d+1)\)-dimensional directed random walk, a sequence of random variables, taking \(\pm 1\) describing the random monomers. The random medium is chosen such that the droplets are on the first coordinate axis. Similarly to \textit{F. den Hollander} and the author [J. Stat. Phys. 114, No. 3, 849--889 (2004; Zbl 1061.82029)] more general geometries of the droplets can be obtained. First it is proven the existence of the infinite volume limit of the free energy. To obtain phase transition picture, the existence of a critical curve, which divides the parameter space into the localized and the delocalized phases, is established. In the localized regime, it is proved tightness to the droplets, whereas in the delocalized regime diffusive path behavior is proved.
