The Mahler measure of a polynomial \(P(x_1,\dots,x_{n})\), \(M(P),\) is defined as the geometric mean of \(P\) over the \(n\)-torus, and \(m(P)=\log M(P).\) The values of \(m(P),\) where \(P\) is a polynomial with rational coefficients, are studied for some time already. The first result in this direction is Smyth's 1981 formulae \(m(1+x+y+z)=7\zeta(3)/(2\pi^2).\) Later, many other formulas of this type were obtained by Boyd, Smyth, Rodriguez Villegas, Lalin, Vandervelde, Condon and others. In this paper, the author studies some special inverse trigonometric integrals. As an application of his method, he recovers some known and obtains new, more general, expressions for \(m(P)\) with some three-variable polynomials \(P.\) For example, in Corollary 3.3 he proves that \[ m(x+(1+x)^2+(1+x+y)^2z)=28\zeta(3)/(5\pi^2)+\log((1+\sqrt{5})/2). \] He also studies the dilogarithm \(L_2(z)=\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} z^n/n^2\) function and obtains an explicit expression for this function in terms of double \(q\)-series expansion. As an application, he computes the Mahler measure of the Laurent polynomial \(4/k+x+1/x+y+1/y\) in terms of some special integrals. The techniques used in this paper are based on some manipulation with various integrals and infinite series.
