Consider the differential system \[ \begin{aligned} \frac{dx_1}{dt}&= a_1f_1 (x_1)+b_1 f_n^{\sigma_1}(x_n),\\\frac{dx_2}{dt}&= a_2f_2(x_2)+b_2 f_1^{\sigma_2}(x_1),\\ &\quad \vdots\\ \frac{dx_{n-1}}{dt}&= a_{n-1} f_{n-1}(x_{n-1})+b_{n-1}f_{n-2}^{\sigma_{n -1}}(x_{n-2}),\\ \frac {dx_n}{dt}&= a_nf_n(x_n)+\sum^{n+1}_{j=1} c_jf_j^{\nu_j} (x_j), \end{aligned} \] where \(a_i,b_i,c_i\) are constants, \(\sigma_j\) and \(\nu_j\) are positive rational numbers, \(f_i\) are continuous functions satisfying \(x_if_i (x_i)>0\) for \(x_i\neq 0\). By using Lyapunov functions of special type, the author derives sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability of the zero solution.
