A space \(X\) is power homogeneous (\(\Delta\)-power homogeneous) if there is a cardinal \(\kappa\) such that the space \(X^{\kappa}\) is homogeneous (for each two points \(x\) and \(y\) in the diagonal of \(X^{\kappa}\) there exists a homeomorphism \(h:X^{\kappa} \rightarrow X^{\kappa}\) with \(h(x)=y\)). Recently, G. J. Ridderbos showed that the cardinality of any regular \(\Delta\)-power homogeneous space \(X\) is \(\leq 2^{c(X)\pi\chi (X)}\), where \(c(X)\) and \(\pi\chi(X)\) denote the cellularity and \(\pi\)-character of \(X\). The author shows that here regularity can be weakened and be replaced by either Urysohn or quasiregularity; in fact, it is enough that only the semiregularization of \(X\) is \(\Delta\)-power homogeneous. It is also shown that \(H\)-closed extremally disconnected spaces cannot be power homogeneous.
