The author introduces a notion of the Abelian integrals in differential equations for an arbitrary vector bundle on \({\mathbb P}^1\) with a meromorphic connection and then provides an upper bound for the multiplicity of zeros of the Abelian integrals over them. Using the Wronskian function associated with the Abelian integrals, he constructs linear equations and studies their properties. He also gives a relation of the notion in this article to the usual notion of the Abelian integrals in the case of a Lefschetz pencil, cf. his earlier paper [J. Reine Angew. Math. 594, 175--199 (2006; Zbl 1101.32014)].
