A square-free positive integer \(n\) is called a congruent number (CN) if \(n\) is the area of a certain right triangle the lengths of the three sides being rational numbers. Otherwise \(n\) is called a non-congruent number (non-CN). It is well known that \(n\) is a non-CN if and only if the rank of the group \(E_n(\mathbb Q)\) of rational points of the elliptic curve \[ E_n: y^2= x^3- 3n x^2+ 2n^2x \] is zero. If the 2-Selmer groups \(S_n\) and \(\widehat S_n\) of \(E_n\) and its dual \[ \widehat E_n: y^2= x^3+ 6^n x^2+ n^2 x \] correspondingly are of minimal size \(S_n= \{1\}\) and \(\widehat S_n= \{1, 2, n, 2n\}\) and \(n\) is odd, then the rank of \(E_n(\mathbb Q)\) is zero. The authors find proper graphs corresponding to \(S_n\) and \(\widehat S_n\) and present a simple necessary and sufficient condition for the Selmer groups to have minimal size. In this way they obtain a new series of odd non-congruent numbers.
