This paper investigates a system of reaction-diffusion equations which model the distribution of a predator and prey in an environment, with ratio-dependent interaction, and allowing periodic time-dependence of the coefficients corresponding to seasonal variation, as well as periodically occuring impulses corresponding to shocks such as pest outbreaks. The authors prove sufficient conditions which ensure the permanence of the system, and the existence of a unique and globally stable periodic solution, with period the same as that of the environmental variation.
