Weakly nonlinear discrete multipoint boundary value problems (Q868767)

The authors consider a weakly nonlinear discrete time system subject to multipoint boundary conditions. They establish some sufficient conditions for the solvability and provide a qualitative analysis of the dependence of the solutions on the parameter in the system. They also give a connection between the solution of the system and its homogeneous one subject to the same boundary conditions. The main analysis of the non homogeneous system depends on the Lyapunov-Schmidt procedure. The results extend some previous work of the first author and complement other results in the literature. An example is considered to illustrate the main results.
