In the current paper the author studies soluble skew linear groups over a finite-dimensional division ring. Let \(D\) be a division ring of finite degree \(d\) and \(n\) be a positive integer. Suppose \(G\) is a soluble subgroup of \(\text{GL}(n,D)\) and \(\text{dl}(G)\) is its derived length. It is given a very nice bound for \(\text{dl}(G)\). In fact, it is proven that \(\text{dl}(G)\) is at most \(9+\log_2d+(11/3)\log_2n\). Moreover, if \(G\) is a periodic soluble subgroup of \(\text{Gl}(n,D)\), then \(\text{dl}(G)\) is independent of \(d\). This result extends some preceding results (including the author's) for subgroups of the multiplicative group \(D^*\) of \(D\). In the paper, it is also proved that \(G\) has a unipotent-by-Abelian (Abelian if \(G\) is completely reducible) normal subgroup of finite index dividing \(b(n)d^{2n}\), where \(b(n)\) is an integer-valued function of \(n\) only.
