On the cohomology of Hermitian symmetric spaces (Q869767)

The author obtains a formula similar to the classical Borel-Hirzebruch formula for the values of powers of a two-dimensional cohomology class at arbitrary homology classes for the spaces of the form \(K/L\) with \(K=K_{1} \times \cdots \times K_{r}\) and \(L=L_{1} \times \cdots \times L_{r}\), where the \(K_{j}\) are non-Abelian compact connected simple Lie groups and \(L_{j}\) are their maximal connected subgroups which are centralizers of tori in \(K_{j}\).
