Extended reduced rank two Abaffian update schemes in the ABS-type methods (Q870158)

The authors consider the class of Abaffy-Broyden-Spedicato (ABS) methods introduced by them [Bull. Aust. Math. Soc., 70, No.~1, 17--34 (2004; Zbl 1074.65029)]. In this respect they propose an extended definition of the related Abaffian matrix, which offers more flexibility in the algorithms and save time and space.
