    The authors deal with the existence of solution of the following system \[ \begin{gathered} -\Delta_p u= {1\over v^{\gamma_1}}+ v^{\alpha_1}\quad\text{in }\Omega,\\ -\Delta_q v= {1\over u^{\gamma_2}}+ u^{\alpha_2}\quad\text{in }\Omega,\\ u,v> 0\quad\text{in }\Omega,\quad u= v= 0\quad\text{on }\partial\Omega,\end{gathered} \] where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^d\), \(d\geq 2\), is a smooth bounded domain, \(\Delta_p\) and \(\Delta_q\) are, respectively, the \(p\)-Laplacian and \(q\)-Laplacian, with \(p,q> 1\), that is, \[ \Delta_p u:= \text{div}(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u),\quad \Delta_q v:= \text{div}(|\nabla v|^{q-2}\nabla v) \] and \(\alpha_1\), \(\alpha_2\), \(\gamma_1\) and \(\gamma_2\) are positive constants. To this end, the authors use a result of P. Rabinowitz and the Hardy-Sobolev inequality.
