A remark on recent results for finding zeroes of accretive operators (Q871323)

The purpose of this paper is to give, by means of the Yosida approximations, some convergence results for the zero-point of a strongly accretive set-valued operator. Some connections to a relaxed version of the proximal point algorithm are also given. The results extend some previous theorems given by \textit{C.\,E.\thinspace Chidume} [in: Nonlinear analysis and applications.\ To V.\,Lakshmikantham on his 80th birthday, Vol.\,1, 383--429 (2003; Zbl 1057.47003)] and \textit{C.\,E.\thinspace Chidume} and \textit{H.\,Zegeye} [Proc.\ Am.\ Math.\ Soc.\ 131, No.\,8, 2467--2478 (2003; Zbl 1022.47048)].
