Let \(A\) be a subset of a Hausdorff topological vector space and \(f\) a function from \(A\) to a locally convex space \(Y\) which is partially ordered by a convex cone \(K\). The authors prove that the efficient solution set of the problem of vector minimizing \(f\) on \(A\) is connected if the following conditions hold: (i) \(A\) is compact and convex; (ii) \(f\) is continuous and the scalarized functions \(\langle y^*, f(.)\rangle\), \(y^*\in K^+\) (the positive polar of \(K\)) are quasiconvex; and (iii) \(K\) is a \(D\)-cone, that is, there is some subset \(D\) of a convex, compact set in the dual space \(Y^*\) such that \(a,b\in D\) implies existence of some \(c\in D\) with \(c\leq a\) and \(c\leq b\) (order being generated by \(K^*\) ) and \(K\) is the intersection of the half-spaces \(\{y\in Y: \langle y, a\rangle \geq 0\}\), \(a\in D\).
