The Pi-Theorem is the fundamental theorem of the theory of physical dimensions and forms the basis for the methods of dimensional and model analysis. These latter fields are especially important for performing experiments with scaled models in fluid and solid mechanics. The paper under review gives a nice overview of the development of this theorem in the past about 100 years since it was first formulated and presents a nice historical overview, putting together more or less known facts on the theorem. Surprisingly a new name is mentioned, namely A. Feldman, a Russian scientist who apparently was the first already in 1911 to give a correct proof and who had been ``overseen'' and ignored by those who were trying to give a general formulation and proof of the Theorem at the same time as he did and also later.
