Solvability of hyperbolic IBVPs through filtering (Q871859)

The paper refers to linear hyperbolic boundary value problems for operators having constant coefficients and focuses on systems of classes WR, i.e. systems that are stable under small disturbances of the coefficients in the PDE as well as in the boundary conditions. One shows that an appropriate filtering applied to both the solution and the data converts a boundary value problem of class WR into a strongly well-posed boundary value problem.
