Colombeau generalized functions and solvability of differential operators (Q873754)

The authors prove that the well-known non solvable Mizohata type partial differential equations have Colombeau generalized solutions (distributions) if and only if they are solvable in the space of Schwartz distributions. The authors give a new solution concept of equations involving the Mizohata differential operators based on a simplified Colombeau algebra. They get new mathematical objects as solutions.
