The authors consider an inhomogeneous two-parameter abstract Cauchy problem on a Banach space \(X\) and study the existence and uniqueness of its solution. The uniqueness condition is deduced for the case when the main operators \((H_1, H_2)\) which generate the Cauchy problem represents the generator of a \(C_0\)-two parameter semigroup.
