    The author investigates the global existence and blow-up of a nonnegative solution of the system \[ u_t = \Delta u^m + u^{p_1} \int_{\Omega} v^{q_1} dx, \quad v_t=\Delta v^n + v^{p_2} \int_\Omega u^{q_2} dx, \quad (x, t) \in \Omega \times (0, T) \] with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions, where \(\Omega \subset \mathbb R^N\) is a bounded domain with smooth boundary \(\partial \Omega, m, n > 1, p_1, p_2, q_1, q_2 >0\). The results depend crucially on the number \(p_i, q_i, m, n\), the domain \(\Omega\) and the initial data \(u_0 (x), v_0 (x)\). Moreover, the blow-up rate of the blow-up solution under some appropriate hypotheses is also considered.
